Pinwheel Art- (Drawing): Goal: Students will recognize and use elements such as line and shape and principles such as variety.

Monet Water Lilly- (watercolor paint): Goal: Students will identify and share personal preferences in art and recognize that people have different preferences.

Giant Candy Corn- (Collage): Goal: Students will demonstrate safe and proper use, care, and storage of materials and equipment.

Overlapping Circles and Patterns- (Drawing/Paper Collage): Goal: Students will understand how to overlap shapes in their artwork.

Tissue Paper Ornaments- (Collage): Goal: Students will understand the idea of overlapping and collage.

 

Warm and Cool Designs- (Oil Pastels): Goal: Students will understand and utilize the ideas of warm and cool colors.

Georgia O’Keefe Flowers- (Oil Pastels/Watercolor): Goal: Students will recognize and use elements of space.

Clay Fish- (Sculpture)- Goal: Students will recognize and use elements of texture and line in their artwork.

 Emoting Faces Goal: Students will observe, reflect, and respond to the emotions in a work of art.

 

 

 

Landscape Overlapping-(Painting/Oil Pastel):Goal: Students will explore the idea of overlapping in a landscape using foreground, middle ground, and background.

Origami Waves and Whales-(Paper Sculpture):Goal: Students will explore sculpting with paper while learning basic paper attachment and folding techniques.

City at Night-(Collage) Goal: Students will practice cutting out shapes and gluing the shapes into a city.

Q-tip Printmaking: (Printmaking)-Goal: Students will use the elements of line, shape, and texture while understanding the art form of printmaking.
