I am the inventor, I am the maker- (Drawing): Goal: Students will be able to critique artwork, reflect upon others opinions of their artwork if needed.
African Masks- (Paper Sculpture): Goal: Students will recognize and understand the idea of functional art.
3-D Snowflake-(Paper Sculpture): Goal: Students will use the idea of radial symmetry to design a 3-D snowflake.
Kandinsky Math Inspired Drawings- (Drawing): Goal: Students will recognize and use the principle of unity to inspire and create a work of art.
Camouflage with Colors-(Painting)
Goal: Students will understand how to mix primary colors, tints, shades, warm and cool colors to camouflage a magazine cutout into a work of art.
Clay Choice- (Sculpture): Goal: Students will demonstrate time management while planning, implementing, and creating artwork.
Choice art for the rest of the school year.
